York's of Houlton is Hiring an Automotive Parts Manager Near Houlton, ME

York’s of Houlton is seeking a dynamic Parts Manager to join our dedicated team. As a crucial member of our dealership, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service for their vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the parts department efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of parts to customers and service technicians.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal levels of parts and accessories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
  • Train and supervise parts department staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to dealership policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer and Service advisor inquiries and concerns regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Utilize dealership management software to track inventory, monitor sales trends, and generate reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with service to meet dealership goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership experience in automotive parts management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in managing departmental P&L.
  • Success in inventory management, forecasting and physical count accuracy.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including industry trends and pricing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,500.00 - $73,000.00 per year
