Under the supervision of the ELC Program Director, this position is responsible for providing administrative support, grant administration and classroom mentoring. This is a 40 hour a week position. Job responsibilities include:

1. Effectively communicate the mission, vision and values of the Wichita YMCA

2. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Center, this includes but is not limited to; monitoring child files, assessment of data entry, support procurement, family engagement and regulatory compliance

3. Classroom duties will include, but are not limited to, creating and following lesson plans, classroom management, implementing child assessments, providing supervision to classroom assistant and creating a positive learning environment for children

4. Supervise staff when in the classroom and when Program Director is not present

5. Provide effective and positive communications with staff, parents and participants

6. Attend and participate in all department, branch, and citywide meetings and training sessions as scheduled

7. Be an active participant in the Strong Community Campaign

8. All other duties as assigned
