Hello EXPERIENCED Dental Assistants!! -
A PRIVATE dental practice located in Tucker, GA is looking to add a new friendly dental assistant! The ideal candidate would be able to:
- Assist the doctor with all dental procedures including but not limited to, taking directions from the doctor, anticipating the doctor's needs, performing patient oral evaluations, taking, developing, and mounting accurate and high-quality X-rays, and various laboratory duties including provisional.
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the doctor's schedule and patient flow
- Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in the patient chart
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
- Promote and market the company's services, retail products, and doctors to patients as well as educate patients and address their questions and/or concerns
- Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in the patient's chart.
-Complete checklists as assigned
- Clean and prepare operatory per company procedures prior to patient appointments - Sterilize equipment and operatories per OSHA guidelines
- Assist staff in scheduling patients' follow-up visits
- Follow up with labs to ensure quality and timely products
- Ensure that all lab cases are adequately and efficiently managed
Schedule:
- Full-Time position - Offering $26-28/per hour (DOE).
- 4 days per week, 36-40 hours.
