Established successful boutique law firm in the Houston area seeks a Probate and/or Guardianship Litigation Attorney with 3 yrs. experience; High energy team, great culture, and support in a fast-moving office.
Responsibilities
•Supervise paralegals and other staff working on your cases.
•Meet with, advise and counsel clients and represent clients in Court.
•Communicate with clients regarding case updates.
•Manage calendar of deadlines and ensure all filings are completed prior to deadlines with the Court.
•Draft and finalize legal documents.
•Ability to travel to our satellite offices as needed.
•Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
•And the big one is to strong desire to win in Court. We are looking for a winning trial attorney.
Qualifications
•Licensed member of the Texas State Bar.
•Minimum 3-5 years of experience practicing in probate, estate administration, and guardianship.
•Familiarity case law, legal research and preparing legal documents.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to build rapport with clients.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Trial experence is a must , jury trial is a plus.
