About the Job:

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for both back-end and front-end development of web-based projects for our clients. This person is a goal-oriented individual who possesses exceptional attention to detail and has outstanding interpersonal skills. This role requires interacting with and implementing web best practices and principles. In addition, the Full Stack Developer is required to work closely with the creative team as well as other departments at Youtech to make sure the goals of the client are achieved. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing new features and functionality to WordPress websites
• Test and improve the functionality of websites or features
• Respond to WordPress, Shopify, or Woocommerce support tickets and requests
• Work with Project Managers and clients to identify requirements and project goals
• Consult with team members and clients to find solutions that meet business requirements
• Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications and integrate with different APIs
• Integrate various third-party applications to websites based on client needs and project scope (MailChimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, etc.)
• Work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently
• Maintain an eye for detail
• Meet deadlines consistently

Professional Competencies:

• You have a passion for web development and would like to move that passion to the marketing realm
• You demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions
• You can hit home runs but also respect the sacrifice fly. Some projects will be solo, and some will be a group effort
• You have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems
• You are eager to learn and grow
• You able to multitask in a fast-paced technical environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in web development role, preferably in both front- and back-end aspects
• Bootcamp, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a proven line of work with web development
• Experience working with PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Laravel
• Demonstrable expertise with WordPress
• Experience working with Node.js is a plus
• Desire to learn a multitude of tech stacks
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
• Experience with tight-turnaround times
• Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate with clients and other departments
• High levels of self-motivation
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
