Job Summary:
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent that aligns with the mission and needs of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with leaders as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of the business, role requirements, and desired candidate profiles, while delivering outstanding support and service
Manage full-cycle recruiting process for multiple searches at a time, creating sourcing strategies and leadership engagement to identify the best talent. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborate with department leaders to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and selection criteria.
Manage job postings on internal and external job boards and social media.
Identify active and passive candidates using proactive sourcing methods, direct sourcing, and networking to find great candidates for current and future openings
Support diversity and inclusion strategy within the recruiting function
Schedule interviews; work with leaders on the preparation of interview questions. Assist leaders as needed with the interview process; may attend and conduct interviews with leaders and other stakeholders.
Identify issues early in the process and resolve problems proactively, use data and results to make decisions and provide status updates regularly. Follows through on commitments and activities
Collaborate with hiring leaders, external agencies, and HR team members during the offer process, identifying and recommending offers, start date, and other pertinent details.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and all company policies.
Facilitate the offer process including developing and extending offers, establishing start dates, procurement requests, and onboarding into critical systems.
Facilitate interviewing or other related training
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with applicant-tracking software/systems. ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google preferred.
Education and Experience:
Experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process acquired through 3 to 5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience
Experience recruiting for a variety of functional areas and inclusive of higher-level salaried roles.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
HR certification or sourcing credentials are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
