Position Description: Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Summary of Position

The successful candidate for this position is a leader, highly motivated, has an innovative mindset, energetic “Go-getter” and excellent communicator! The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will manage, coordinate, and oversee different programs and projects to ensure high quality, intergenerational programs including mentoring, after-school, and summer camp for historically marginalized youth and families. This role serves to efficiently implement programs in a manner consistent with agency mission goals and projected outcomes. The position will require some evening and weekend work, as well as some outdoor work in all seasons/weather.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effective community outreach, engagement and building community relationships.

• Coordinate, implement and provide direct oversight for daily youth and family programming to meet the goals and outcomes of agency-wide programs.

• Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program, and set priorities for managing the program.

• Collaborate with program partners to meet the agency goals and outcomes.

• Supervise program staff.

• Develop and maintain detailed records/reports pertaining to program activities which includes documentation/reporting for funders.

• Request, purchase and monitor program expenditures.

• Develop creative “out of the box” marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies.

• Participate in staff orientation, training and professional development as required.

• Maintain open communication with agency Leadership team and staff as necessary.

• Assist with the evaluation and continued development and growth of agency programs and partnerships.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
