Job DescriptionDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- The person selected will:
- Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of a relevant community college curriculum in Administration of Justice;
- Provide instruction in Law Enforcement and Corrections Associate and Certificate programs;
- Prepare complete course syllabi and outline, and work on articulation with local colleges and universities;
- Adapt instructional techniques to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities to support student success;
- Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments;
- Participate in district/college/division committees as required to maintain and improve the instructional program;
- Establish and participate in the activities of the Administration of Justice Advisory Committee;
- Be committed to the participatory governance process.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
