Nursing Instructor - AdjunctLocation: Yuba College - Marysville, CA.
Job DescriptionDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Provide theory and clinical instruction for Associate Degree Nursing Program in the areas of Nursing. Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the total nursing curriculum. Serve as a liaison between health agencies and the College. Will be assigned to teach in the ADN Nursing Program at the various campuses. Familiarity with online and interactive TV instruction desired.
Essential Duties SummaryRequired Qualifications:CREDENTIAL: Hold a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse and be free from any disciplinary action by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate, by the final filing date, must possess the minimum qualifications for instructors in Nursing required by the Board of Registered Nursing:
ANDMaster’s in health education or health science
OR the equivalent
OR the minimum qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing, whichever is higher;
AND
Desired/Preferred QualificationsPhysical Demands:Range/StepSalary Range: $55.01 - $86.94 Step 1 - 7
Benefits InformationFOREIGN TRANSCRIPTS: Include a U.S. evaluation and translation The Office of Human Resources has posted a list of some agencies providing foreign transcript services.

- A clinical teaching assistant shall have at least one (1) year continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience in the designated nursing area within the previous five years (5) as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
