Overview: The Deputy Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing the management and execution of programs within the SME Manager Group 1. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in program management and a PMP certification. The Deputy Program Manager will assist in strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring program objectives are met, particularly in the context of (Department of Homeland Security) DHS's cyber defense mission. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Program Manager in developing program strategies and plans that support DHS's cybersecurity objectives. • Support day-to-day program operations and administration. • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure program alignment with national cyber defense priorities. • Monitor program progress and performance metrics. • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues. • Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Manager and senior leadership. • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including federal agencies and private sector partners.
