Position Summary : Under the direction of the Charge Nurse this person is responsible for the patient flow in the clinic.
Position Qualifications : A highly self-motivated individual with organizational and multitasking skills. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Minimum Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience : Two-years experience working in a healthcare field. Able to fulfill all competencies for OPC Medical Support Technician II.
Medical terminology course of study completed & documented.
- License, Certification, Registration : Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Equipment / Tools : Printer, photocopiers, fax machine, multi-line phone system and other general office equipment.
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills : Typing 45 w.p.m. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Multitasking and organizational skills especially necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Yup’ik speaker preferred
