Description
Overview: The Help Desk/Computer Technician role is to support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading hardware and software while ensuring its optimal performance. The individual will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training and assistance where required. The individual will also provide front line Help Desk support for all Bramco hardware and software systems.
Essential Job Functions:

• Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Setting up and installing new hardware and software systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer issues.
• Identifying network, connectivity, and server issues and assist the Network Administrator in resolving these issues.
• Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
• Training computer users

Attributes: In this position you must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability to fix issues and ensure functionality.
Qualifications
Job Requirements :

• Bachelor or Associates degree in computer related field or Associate course work with 1-2 years experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to solve new or unfamiliar problems.
• Ability to focus on multiple projects at once and to troubleshoot problems quickly
• Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft software.
• An openness to learning new technologies
• Travel as dictated by business need
• Must successfully pass background, drug , and physical screening
