YUM! Brands, Inc. is Hiring a Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Near Louisville, KY

Job DescriptionAs the Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineering – People Systems, you will be instrumental in leading our technical operations, focusing on our Yum! People Systems, Oracle HCM Cloud and LearnNow!. This leadership role involves overseeing the design, deployment, and management of customer-facing infrastructure, applications, and services, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade SLA standards. You will lead a team responsible for the ongoing enhancement of our DevOps and operational and technical support operations, delivering high system performance and stability while driving innovation.
Salary Range: $160,800 to $260,600 annually bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.Responsibilities
  • Technical Architecture and System Management:
    • Design, deploy, and configure various customer-facing infrastructures, applications, and services.
    • Design and manage cloud infrastructure and services to meet and exceed enterprise-grade SLA standards.
    • Create and deploy scalable monitoring systems to support a rapidly expanding global infrastructure.
  • Operational Excellence and Incident Management:
    • Lead the resolution of customer escalations and prevent recurrence of incidents by developing robust processes, procedures, and automations.
    • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve critical production issues, including outside of business hours, ensuring minimal impact on business continuity.
    • Collaborate with the People Systems scrum teams to identify and prioritize problems to add to their backlogs.
  • Documentation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Write, augment, and maintain comprehensive production documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for internal use.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing state-of-the-art practices and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and system resilience.
    • Continuously improve support practices to minimize the need to involve resources from the People Systems scrum teams.
  • Leadership and Strategic Oversight:
    • Manage a diverse team of DevOps engineers and support specialists (including remote and offshore), fostering an environment of high performance and innovation.
    • Manager a team of first and second level payroll and benefits support specialists.
    • Collaborate with senior executives and other department leaders to align technical strategies with broader organizational goals.
    • Serve as a key decision-maker in strategic planning and execution, influencing technological advancements and operational improvements.
Requirements
  • Extensive leadership experience in DevOps, IT operations, or system support, preferably within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in managing complex cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; additional experience with Oracle Infrastructure Cloud is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through significant technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
