Guided by its founding principle, the YWCA provides shelter, support services, and tools for self-sufficiency for women and girls in our community. They offer a range of services including a 24-hour crisis hotline, shelter, and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual assault, as well as services for pregnant and parenting teens and out-of-school youth.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Child & Family Clinician located in Springfield, MA. The Child & Family Clinician will be responsible for providing support, counseling, and therapeutic services to children and families who have experienced trauma. They will work closely with individuals to develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide crisis intervention. The Child & Family Clinician will also collaborate with other professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Licensure or certification in a relevant field (e.g., LCSW, LMHC)
• Experience providing counseling and therapy to children and families
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and community resources
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
