POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for providing programing, troubleshooting, installation and repair of vehicle electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems within the manufacturing industry. This position requires you to use your excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to quality and safety, and positive teamwork attitude to drive your career.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Install and repair various Hybrid Drive systems, communication networks, and electrical components
Inspect and diagnose electrical systems issues using advanced electrical theory, PLC and ladder logic
Interpret blueprints, process sheets, schematics and instructions for appropriate repairs and process
Maintain clean and safe work practices with electrical systems by adhering to safety policies, procedures, and processes
Inspect and communicate issues that arise in the required quality checkout
Document work and results with support of various software programs including, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet browsers, and diagnostic applications
Install and repair electrical control components such as resistors, diodes and relays)
Expand knowledge of technical and maintenance principles including how to perform work around high voltage systems (200 volts)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Experience in electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair.
High voltage experience is a plus.
Previous PLC, ladder logic, AC and DC system experience.
Experience reading engineering documents, wiring schematics and instructions.
Commitment to organizational health and safety standards and procedures.
Strong problem solving and communications skills.
A valued team member who builds collaborative relationships through honesty and integrity.
Accountable with a strong attention to detail and quality, while meeting deadlines.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb up and down ladders.
Flexibility to work both first (1st) or second (2nd) shift.
Intermediate level computer skills preferred.
Associate degree in automotive discipline, electronics, or equivalent vocational school preferred.
