The Position
You will report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the HR Assistant of the company. Your role will be crucial in driving and implementing all HR-related initiatives to support the company's strategic goals and create a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
You will manage and be involved in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, HR policies & procedures, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance.

Your primary responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Lead all recruitment efforts and ensure a smooth hiring and onboarding process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulatory changes by effectively reviewing and managing HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Drive and lead the HR IT system implementation in collaboration with the HR Assistant.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all Human Resource records including personnel files, benefit enrollment forms, and I-9 documentation.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide HR-related information and assistance to leaders as well as employees.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and investigate employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle the employee disciplinary action process and termination process in compliance with company policies and federal and state employment laws.
  • Coordinate and manage all compensation and benefit activities.
  • Oversee and manage all injury claims with L&I and be responsible for OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Drive employee engagement and a positive work environment to enhance employee performance.

About You – Skills & Qualifications
You are an energetic and experienced HR professional with a proven track record of successfully driving HR initiatives to optimize employee performance to achieve strategic goals!

We are seeking someone who embodies the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar HR role.
  • Proven experience and a track record of successfully managing all aspects of an HR function.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws with the ability to handle all employee relations in compliance with these laws.
  • Proficient in implementing and using HR IT software and tools.
  • A solid understanding of business operations and strategy with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives to contribute to organizational success.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • The ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential! You can effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders, ensuring organizational alignment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
