ZACH-VAC Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning has a rare opening (April 2024) to hire a Full-time technician who is a hardworking, trustworthy candidate who prefers to do things the right way. For the right person we are willing to train you as a helper and then the plan would be to keep increasing your knowledge. You can grow to eventually run a truck with your own helper once comfortable. Quick learning skills will help speed up this process. Some HVAC knowledge is helpful but not required. Our typical working hours are roughly 8am-4pm for residential duct cleanings. Some overtime is able. Flexibility is needed when commercial companies need us in the evening or 3rd shift hours. We prefer taking volunteers vs being mandatory. We discuss as a team when scheduling late work.

There is room for growth as certifications can be obtained. We want this to be a career, not just a job, so a little ambition can lead to better money.

The perfect candidate will have a clean driving record, be comfortable on a 32 foot extension ladders and roofs when necessary, fit into tight spaces (behind dryers, climb up in attics, down in crawl spaces), be able to work kneeling down, lift heavy objects, possess great communication skills for a positive customer experience, have common sense, be a problem solver, look presentable/professional (shirts to be provided, need acceptable jeans/shorts), possess mechanical knowledge, and a positive attitude. Looking to pay $16-18 to start as a helper but once you are able to obtain certifications and prove knowledge you will receive raises. Candidate with previous experience pay to be discussed.

ZACH-VAC is in it's 7th year and based in Grantville. The company has taken over the residential air duct cleaning market in all of South Central PA with 3 trucks running every weekday. We mainly serve Dauphin, Lebanon, York, Cumberland, Berks, and Lancaster counties but occasionally go further. We encourage you to check out our website for more info about what we do.
