PRODUCT CARE SPECIALIST
Based in our NYC Corporate Office (not remote)
As a Product Care Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the order, integrity, and quality of goods within our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will revolve around ensuring that products are handled with care, processes are upheld to the highest standards, and adequate training is provided to warehouse personnel to optimize product care practices. Additionally, you will be accountable for monitoring and managing the inventory of consumable items essential for warehouse operations.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Product Integrity Management:
Implement and uphold protocols to ensure the safe handling and movement of products within the warehouse.
Conduct regular inspections to identify any instances of damage, spoilage, or quality issues, taking prompt corrective action as necessary.
Collaborate with relevant teams to establish and enforce quality control measures to maintain product integrity.
Process Optimization:
Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in product care practices.
Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations while maximizing efficiency and minimizing the risk of product damage.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to product care, providing insights and recommendations for enhancements.
Training and Development:
Design and deliver training programs to educate warehouse staff on best practices for handling and caring for products.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure that employees understand and adhere to established protocols.
Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility for product care throughout the warehouse team.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of consumable items such as packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and protective equipment.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of consumables to support uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste while ensuring that adequate supplies are always available when needed.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Annual compensation range: $86,000 - $103,000 discretionary annual bonus
