Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Billing to lead our billing department. This role is critical in managing the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in billing practices to optimize revenue and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
• Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Enhance and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain a documented system of billing policies and operations.
• Manage and oversee the billing department, ensuring staff meet departmental goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide training and support to billing staff.
• Generate financial and operational reports related to billing as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in billing management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in billing software and technologies.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
