LHH is working with a non-profit Catholic organization on a Senior Financial Analyst opening near Downtown Denver! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in facilitating the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, reporting and monthly variance analysis.
• Conducts periodic budget reviews with programs to identify risks and develop proactive solutions.
• Performs budgeting and forecasting of expenditures and revenues to ensure sufficient cash flow and reserves.
• Preparation and posting of journal entries, including reclassification, monthly recurring, and other journal entries.
• Examines accounting data for accuracy, appropriateness, and documentation.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of developments in the grant/contract administration and finance areas and ensure that new developments and governmental requirements are incorporated in agency planning and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• 4 years' of relevant experience
• Non-profit experience preferred but not required
• Advanced Excel modeling skills

Compensation

75-95K plus full benefits
