Job Description:
Established public accounting firm inBellingham Washington, is looking for an Audit Manager with solid public accounting experience
This role is not remote or hybrid
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement audit procedures and schedules
- Review financial statements and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate audit teams and provide guidance and support throughout the audit process
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are taken
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes
- Train and mentor audit staff
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
