Job Description: Electrical Project Manager - Warehouse Projects
Position: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in managing warehouse projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing electrical installations and systems in large-scale warehouse environments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for electrical installations in warehouse projects.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to final commissioning.
2) Team Leadership:
Lead a team of electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, providing clear direction and support.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
3) Budget and Schedule Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all milestones.
4) Quality and Safety Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company safety policies.
5) Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
6) Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications:
a)Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
b)Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical project management, with a focus on warehouse projects.
c)Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical installations in warehouse environments.
d)Strong leadership and team management abilities.
e)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
f)Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or equivalent.
g)Solid understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical specifications.
