About Us:

We are a leading aluminum recycling manufacturer committed to sustainability and excellence in recycling operations. Our business is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to manage transportation logistics for our facility in Goose Creek, SC.

Position: Shipper/Receiver

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the receipt and shipment of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies to arrange inbound and outbound shipments.

- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet company standards.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts using our inventory management system.

- Manage and organize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all shipping and receiving activities.

- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as needed.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.56 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42 – 48 per week
