The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leader with people management experience who will be responsible for all Northeast depot operations, inventory and management activities related to vehicle and customer support for depots operating within the region. This individual will develop and direct personnel, customer satisfaction, and coordinate the maintenance and charging strategy of the lot parking. The Regional director will supervise Depot Managers/Supervisors and assume the responsibilities of all employees working at each depot location. Positions include, Site Manager, Administrative Clerk, Depot Attendants and Porters, Fleet Mechanics, Parts Specialists and Warranty Administrator. In addition, reports to the VP, and works to continually create the strategies for existing depots and assists in planning and opening future depots in and outside of their region.
Key Responsibilities:
· Guide, lead, engage and develop all Operations staff including lot porters, coordinators, supervisors, and maintenance crew for your assigned region. And serve as the main point of contact for all personnel for your region including sales manager and site acquisition team.
· Oversees the design, operation, measurement, integration, control, and improvement of service delivery;
· Work with maintenance team to continue to deliver through predicted and unforeseen maintenance needs.
· Maintain detailed understanding of operational cost drivers and metrics to support operations planning and growth and provide reports to the VP of Operations as required.
· Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders.
· Implement earned value management (EVM) systems to measure project performance and progress.
· Connect with regional sales to match operations to customer demand
· Maintain comprehensive documentation, including safety and EH&S
· Maintain SOPs for depot operations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required, MBA or similar postgraduate degree preferred
· Valid driver license and acceptable driving record required to operate vehicle.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant management experience.
· Experience with organizational best practices, plant and industrial management and operations.
· Extensive understanding of production operations management principles, metrics, cost relationships, and variable labor management.
· Proven ability to provide leadership to multiple remote operating areas, managers, and sites.
· Detailed understanding of Federal and State occupational, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the facilities environment, including OSHA regulations.
· Well-developed interpersonal skills: ability to interact with diverse groups of employees, partners, customers, and external resources effectively and professionally under high pressure conditions.
· Enthusiasm to help build a new organization from the ground up to tackle the massive need to fleet charging infrastructure in rapidly evolving EV industry.
· Travel is required

The position will provide a competitive salary, plus the possibility of additional short-term incentive compensation/commission and equity for exceptionally well-qualified candidates. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
