Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Sales Representative to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Sales Representative should be able to stand, sit at an office space, see, hear, and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers. The Sales Representative is exposed to typical office working conditions, but will also work off-site using its vehicles as a mobile office. Responsibilities:
- Phase 1: Prospecting and Customer Delight
- Ignite and maintain a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) both in the field and office
- Conduct property inspections and lead property owners through the insurance claim process
- Phase 2: Scope Mastery and Contract Conquest
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, review their scope of damage, and create contracts with property owners using powerful estimating software
- Phase 3: Profit Maximization and Production Triumph
- Employ estimating and supplementing techniques to ensure accurate project assessments and proposals
- Collaborate closely with the production team, ensuring impeccable execution of projects and utmost customer satisfaction
- Assist the accounts receivable department in ensuring successful collection of payments, maintaining financial stability
- Execute strategies to maximize profit margins on projects, ensuring each job's profitability exceeds 30%
- Provide accurate information, insights, and valuable leads
- Participate in company meetings, sales rallies, and advanced training sessions
- Actively engage in cold calling, door knocking, canvassing, and networking
- Complete training modules on the Mighty Dog University virtual platform
- Maintain communication with the accounts receivable and production departments to ensure smooth operations
- Generate a minimum of $100,000 of contracted sales to contribute to the company's growth
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
- Knowledge of roofing or construction is a plus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter with a thirst for exceeding sales targets
- A positive attitude and commitment to our mission and values
- A driver's license and reliable vehicle
