Zelis is Hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst Near Middlesex, NJ

Location and Workplace Flexibility: We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. The Quality Assurance Analyst will deliver the highest levels of quality to a suite of software products for the Zelis Claims team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be involved in design, development and execution of system tests covering a number of Zelis healthcare revenue cycle management products.
The Position Will Primarily Focus On Creating Test Cases For Automation Of Manual Processes, Data Validation And Development Of Testcases. The Quality Assurance Analyst Will Participate In All Aspects Of The Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) To Include
  • Collaboration with analysts in gathering requirements and test case design to ensure adequate coverage for new feature development
  • Partnering with software developers to facilitate a clear understanding of acceptance criteria and QA expectations
  • Creating and designing testcases that will be used by the Automation team to build automation scripts
  • Performing manual testing of work that’s not deemed possible or important to automate
  • Automating system regression execution and regression data collection
  • Testing products that delivers on a SaaS basis through the web built using the Microsoft .NET Stack (Windows, Microsoft SQL Server, C#).
  • Developing in depth understanding of the Zelis product portfolio to assist with defect prioritization.
  • Performing root cause analysis for software and data defects to include aiding to implement process changes to ensure a continuous improvement.
  • Liaison between operations, compliance analysts and R&D
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ manual/automation software quality assurance experience
  • Experience with QA methodologies and API testing tools
  • JSON payload experience
  • Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies
Preferred Skills
  • Testing cloud native products experience helpful
  • Postman, SoapUI, Bruno experience helpful
  • Experience in API testing, validating XML payloads preferred
  • Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, etc.
  • Good understanding of relational databases in general and Microsoft SQL Server specifically.
  • Working knowledge of Java or any programing language.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
  • Working knowledge of Git based version control systems.
  • Working knowledge of large data sets highly desired.
  • Coordination of benefits, and/or Health care revenue cycle knowledge is plus.
  • EDI (835 & 837) claims testing and understanding health care claims pricing.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science preferred.
