Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor, repair, and maintain conveyance, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and soybean processing equipment.
- Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting in order to complete various repairs.
- Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and location parts for other departments.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain plant sanitation standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- ZHigh School diploma or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of soybean processing or ethanol plant experience.
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
- Skilled in using hand tools and operating a forklift, bobcat, and end-loader.
- Knowledge of the general industry regulations and practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills along with the ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
