Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage public works projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget - Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation - Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met - Review and interpret civil engineering plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with regulations and standards - Utilize construction management software such as Prolog or ProCore to track project progress and communicate updates to team members - Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and address any issues or concerns that may arise - Collaborate with internal departments to develop project schedules, allocate resources, and manage project budgets - Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports - Conduct construction estimating and cost analysis for public works projects Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field - Strong knowledge of Civil 3D software for design and drafting purposes - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents - Experience in project scheduling, contract management, and construction estimating - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
