Role Overview : As a Behavior Aide / Paraprofessional, you'll be essential in helping classroom teachers by working closely with special education students, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their academic journey.

Your contributions will have a significant positive impact on these children's growth and development.

Competitive hourly rate of $21-$24, paid weekly Consistent Monday to Friday schedule No weekend work required Typical hours : 8am to 2 : 30 / 3pm, for a total of 30-35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :

Behavioral Support : Implement and monitor behavioral intervention plans (BIPs), provide positive reinforcement, and apply de-escalation techniques as needed.

Individualized Support : Offer tailored, one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, customizing materials and strategies to fit their unique requirements.

Classroom Assistance : Collaborate with teachers to manage classroom behaviors, foster student engagement, and create an inclusive learning environment.

Data Collection : Accurately track and record student progress, behaviors, and interventions to inform the special education team.

Communication : Establish and maintain strong relationships with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure cohesive support for students.

High School Diploma Experience working with children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations English proficiency

Preferred :

Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies CPR and First Aid certification
