Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with behavioral and or substance abuse issues. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision
- Provide support during class sessions and assist with data collection (NOTE TAKING ON ERM SYSTEM) - We use Therapy Notes ERM
- Utilize crisis management techniques to de-escalate challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and behavior observations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
Skills:
- Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with behavioral health issues (No experienced required. We will train you)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
