Position SummaryZenith is seeking an empathic, eager and engaging Manager of Behavioral Health whose primary responsibilities are developing, planning, and supervising the behavioral component of our mental health services. The Behavioral Health Manager work as part of a team, along with Leads to help manage the milieu of both staff and patients. Behavioral Health Managers focus on administrative duties, including quality assurance, risk management and compliance with governing bodies' guidelines and mental health agencies to abide by the latest state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilites
- Oversee the daily operations of the behavioral health department
- Supervise behavioral health technicians and leads
- Ability to work with Electronic Medical Records, Outlook and Word
- Assist in hiring new talent
- Coordinate work schedules
- Evaluate staff performance
- Manage payroll
- Ensure program compliance with licensing statutes and regulations
- Drive initiatives that help boost long-term operational excellence and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of support services
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Implementing and developing policies and procedures
- Bachelors degree, preferred
- Three years of previous experience in behavioral health, preferred
- One year experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferred
- AZDPS Level-One Fingerprint Clearance Card eligible
- Background clearance eligible
