Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance. Overview of Position
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations;
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, Panels, Commercial Switchgear up to 3000A, Transformers Disconnects and other commercial 208/480V electrical components;
- Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance;
- Maintain, repair, install and test switch-gear, transformers, switchboard meters;
- Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
- Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.
- Trenching for electrical underground
- Test electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibility
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices
- Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints and maps
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor
- Use ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties.
- Trench and install underground PVC and overhead EMT
- Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens to others, is proactive in resolving issues.
- Written Communication - Write clearly and informatively; conscious of audience and varies writing style accordingly, able to read and interpret written requirements.
