WE LOVE OUR WORK. SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all slot machines and gaming devices shift in accordance with property policies and procedures. Responsible for providing efficient service to all slot guests and ensures slot machines are monitored and repaired on a continual basis for full capacity operation. ESSENTiAL DUTiES & RESPONSiBiLiTiES: - Promote and maintain all steps in the customer service program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with. - Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts. - Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunction problems as they occur during gaming. - Assist floor supervisors with malfunctions and answer floor calls. - Answer floor calls excluding jackpots when business dictates. - Ensures that slot machines are filled with ticket paper to keep machines in constant operation. - Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines. Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate. - Work on special projects as assigned. Assist with every phase, from layout to installation. - Must work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. - Maintains knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as property internal controls, policies and procedures. - Brings disputes and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager. - Must be knowledgeable of all special events and promotional activities available to guests. - Presents oneself as a Credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same. - Must work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. - Must at all times demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and supervisors. - Adhere to all departments/company policies and procedures. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. SUPERViSORY RESPONSiBiLiTiES - This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. - Must qualify for licensing with the New Mexico Racing & Gaming Commissions. - High School diploma or G.E.D preferred. - Six months to one year experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines, or slot machines preferred. - Ability to work varying schedule to include: all shifts, days and holidays - Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. - Must have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel. - Knowledge of New Mexico gaming laws and regulations as well as the Penn National Gaming’s internal controls, policies and procedures. - Work in a fast-paced environment. - Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. - Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Ability to maintain confidentiality. - Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments. - Ability to work unsupervised.
