Zimmermann Company is Hiring a Digital Marketing Data Analyst Near Sydney, FL

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a specialized Digital Marketing Data Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team. In the position of Digital Marketing Data Analyst, you will report directly to the Digital Marketing Senior Manager and will play a critical role in transforming data into meaningful insights that will influence and drive our global digital marketing strategies.

About the role:

The role will work across our digital marketing channels to analyze data, identify insights, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize results and drive business growth. You will translate patterns in data and trends that will inform decision-making through clear storytelling.

Please note that this is a full-time position supporting our global team headquartered in Rosebery, NSW, Australia.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Senior Manager, Performance Marketing Specialist, and Social & Digital Marketing Specialist to analyze and report on digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and present data visualizations to support global marketing strategy and inform decisions across paid and organic marketing channels.
  • Build and maintain digital marketing dashboards for ongoing optimization of marketing investments.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to equip the Digital Marketing team and broader business with critical insights.
  • Develop ad-hoc insights to support measurement, KPI evolution, and deliver actionable intelligence on key performance drivers.
  • Implement rigorous test-and-learn strategies to optimize organic and paid performance, ensuring statistical validity and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Build and maintain attribution models to understand the commercial value and effectiveness of marketing initiatives, maximizing ROI.
  • Champion data quality improvements across multiple systems, upholding the highest standards of data hygiene and accuracy.
  • Ensure data integrity for reliable insights based on a strong data foundation.
  • Deliver routine and ad-hoc analyses to drive online purchase decision-making and unlock new opportunities.
  • Partner with internal and external data teams to implement data best practices encompassing data flow, mapping, and enrichment.
  • Manage and maintain Google Tag Manager, creating tags & triggers for accurate activity tracking.
  • Participate in brainstorming digital marketing strategies under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Senior Manager.
  • Lead digital marketing data projects and initiatives, collaborating with wider business and external teams to develop BI tools and capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology to advance our marketing data foundation.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3 years of experience in data analysis for the marketing field.
  • Strong business acumen, adept at deriving customer-centric insights aligned with organizational goals and marketing best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and experience in analyzing both structured and unstructured data.
  • Excellent data storytelling skills, effectively communicating complex findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, social media (paid & organic), affiliates, and email marketing.
  • Strong experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, BigQuery, and APIs (custom, Meta, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Experience with AdWords and Meta conversion tracking (advantageous).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with mixed media modeling (advantageous).
  • Previous experience in e-commerce retail (advantageous).
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
