Duties:Leverage knowledge of Software Engineering to develop world class mobile threat defense solutions. Analyze enterprise customer security needs and adapt applications to work with Zimperium’s existing technologies. Add new features to Zimperium’s proprietary security and threat detection software. Define enterprise-wide applications development strategies to ensure that applications and infrastructure that are brought to market meet customer & business requirements. Specific duties include: · Develop complex application components based on design specs, while adhering to programming standards, structured coding techniques & development methodologies;· Migrate legacy applications from Python to Java micro services using Spring Boot;· Add new features to the Zimperium proprietary mobile threat defense software using Spring boot, containerization, SQL, NoSQL and many other technologies;· Write unit tests to ensure code coverage standards are met;· Develop and maintain deployment & configuration tools using Ansible, Helm charts, Python and Shell scripting;· Review bugs reported in the software and provide fixes to the issues by conducting thorough RCA;· Participate in system architecture & design meetings to develop highly available, scalable, secure, reliable, resilient and cost optimized software solutions.Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent, plus 3 years of experience developing software applications and involvement in software design, development and testing phases. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include the following: · 3 years of experience developing micro services architecture based web applications with RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot & Python.· 3 years of experience with event driven applications development using asynchronous event messaging and processing systems & technologies.· 3 years of experience working with Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis and Memcached persistence technologies.· 3 years of experience utilizing Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS and SQS messaging technologies.· 2 years of experience developing applications using Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.· 2 years of experience working with Gradle, JUnit5, Github, Datadog, kibana, Swagger & Kong.· 2 years of experience using NGINX & HAProxy technologies to configure application routing and security apparatus.· 2 years of experience working with at least one of AWS, Azure or OCI cloud platforms.· 2 years of experience working with Ansible, Shell scripting & Helm charts to automate application deployment and creating CI/CD pipelines using Teamcity and Jenkins.· 2 years of experience developing applications in Linux Operating System and understanding of disk, network and process/thread management. M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Apply by email online, by email at jobs@zimperium.com or mail to Staffing, Zimperium, Inc., 4055 Valley View Lane, Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75244.
