The Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure business is the trusted partner to deliver construction projects in Transmission Lines, Substations (Green and Brown field), Renewable energy storage and Green Gas infrastructure.
About The RoleWe are seeking to engage with a highly experienced Project Manager to join our business and take a lead role in the overall management of a major project or significant program of works that will help Australia’s move towards NetZero
Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Developing the Project and Program Delivery Capability
  • Leading completed projects through tender, ECI and execution phases
  • Developing high-performing project environments
  • Managing personnel in accordance with Zinfra policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are employees / assigned to carry out required tasks
  • Ensuring the ongoing performance management of the team
  • Providing ongoing leadership and support to the team
  • Ensuring the delivery team's contribution towards financial targets aligns with business strategy as:
  • Achieving Revenue and EBIT, ($ and %), budget targets through delivering profitable projects and / or portfolios
  • Managing Labour and Fleet utilization to maximize cost recoveries
  • Managing claims and debtors to minimize working capital requirements
  • Ensuring delivery team meets or exceeds tendered gross margin and cash flow targets and regularly updating project cost information and forecasting
  • Manage key stakeholders that may include client, internal leadership teams & delivery committees.
  • Managing and supervising the delivery team
  • Managing and motivating direct reports (e.g., Project Managers) and indirect reports to ensure projects within the portfolio are being delivered to the specified scope, time frame, allocated budget, and quality
  • Managing Internal Resources, Subcontractor, Designer, and Suppliers
  • Ensuring adequate management of internal resources, subcontractors, designers, and suppliers utilizing Zinfra’s processes and procedures
About YouTo be selected for interview your resume will need to highlight your extensive Project Management experience demonstrating successful outcomes in the delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects. Additionally your resume should demonstrate:
  • Extensive experience managing engineering, procurement and construction teams
  • Strong ability to, drive and motivate contractors and consultant to achieve program milestones
  • Demonstrated commercial / financial acumen
  • Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
  • Ability to develop the project team and manage stakeholders
  • Extensive networks with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors
  • Ability to build, manage a high performance, outcomes oriented team
