Zing Recruiting is partnered with a well known NutriSciences Lab in seeking Laboratory Technicians to join the team in preparing samples for processing and maintaining the documentation process to facilitate analysis procedures. Excellent opportunity for Science majors to get their foot in the door with professional experience in a laboratory setting. Hours for this position is Noon to 8pm or 2p-10p with overtime as needed per department.

Responsibilities:

• Read plates and tubes to determine quantity of organisms in sample and record findings.
• Write identification for product and client to track samples.
• Pipette sample solution into tubes or plates, use agar to begin growth processes, and prepare sample for observation and record data.
• Prepare appropriate products (broth and media) for pathogen testing as needed.
• Set up equipment and materials needed for analysis.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
