Job Opportunity: EHS Workers Comp Specialist
About Our ClientOur client is a leading EV mass-production plant utilizing cutting-edge production technology.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities EHS Workers Comp SpecialistPosition Summary
  • Manage worker compensation claims from initiation to resolution.
  • Assist in thorough investigations to gather relevant information and evidence.
  • Communicate effectively with injured employees, medical providers, and insurance carriers to facilitate claim processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement safety programs and prevent workplace injuries.
  • Assist project teams in enrolling eligible participants, including contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, in the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).
  • Maintain accurate records of OCIP activities, including policy documentation, enrollment data, and claims information.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of OCIP documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
MinimumQualifications & Preferences - EHS Workers Comp Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field (preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in insurance management, worker compensation claims administration, and SAP usage (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles, regulations, and best practices (preferred).
  • Knowledge of worker compensation laws, regulations, and claims handling procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, or similar enterprise resource planning software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines.
Travel Requirement
  • Domestic/International travel required.
