Job Opportunity: EHS Workers Comp Specialist About Our ClientOur client is a leading EV mass-production plant utilizing cutting-edge production technology. Essential Duties And Responsibilities EHS Workers Comp SpecialistPosition Summary
Manage worker compensation claims from initiation to resolution.
Assist in thorough investigations to gather relevant information and evidence.
Communicate effectively with injured employees, medical providers, and insurance carriers to facilitate claim processing.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement safety programs and prevent workplace injuries.
Assist project teams in enrolling eligible participants, including contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, in the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).
Maintain accurate records of OCIP activities, including policy documentation, enrollment data, and claims information.
Conduct periodic reviews and audits of OCIP documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field (preferred).
2 years of experience in insurance management, worker compensation claims administration, and SAP usage (preferred).
Strong understanding of insurance principles, regulations, and best practices (preferred).
Knowledge of worker compensation laws, regulations, and claims handling procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, or similar enterprise resource planning software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines.
Travel Requirement
Domestic/International travel required.
