Equipment Maintenance - Paint Maintenance Group Leader
About Our Client
Our client is a leading EV mass-production plant utilizing cutting-edge production technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Paint Maintenance Group Leader
Position Summary Paint Maintenance Group Leader:
- Coordinate and coach team members' activities as a first-line supervisor in GA maintenance to meet section goals (PM / Down Time / Skill Level).
General Management:
- Follow the shift rotation plan based on sales and production plans (3 shifts or 4 crews 2 shift rotation including holidays, final rotation TBD).
- Report the status of assigned tasks at various stages (Troubleshooting, PM activities, and other requests from superiors).
- Support urgent equipment issues (Nights, Weekends, Holidays).
- Comply with Safety & Environmental guidelines while performing maintenance activities.
- Obtain pre-approval from direct management for personal leave.
- Support all levels of management to encourage teamwork (Meetings, Events, Collaboration).
- Perform other related duties as assigned by department management, including outside regular daily work scope.
Equipment & Team Member Management:
- Manage daily PM activities based on the PM system (Manpower, Plan-Results, PM Quality) to maintain stable equipment operation.
- Manage team training and development.
- Support breakdown management and reporting to improve shop MTTR/MTBF performance.
- Coordinate, approve, and report improvement ideas from team members to resolve issues.
- Maintain responsibility for spare parts, team center, and training room.
- Communicate effectively with AM to supervise and control conflicts and support team member issues.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Mentor shop members to encourage continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Preferences Paint Maintenance Group Leader
Minimum:
- Over 6 years of maintenance experience in the automated industry.
- Experience managing more than 8 team members, minimum as a team leader.
- Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting experience (PLC, Power circuit, inverter & motors).
- Technical college graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment (certified apprenticeship, etc.).
Preferred:
- Paint Maintenance experience in major automotive manufacturers.
- Robot maintenance experience (Yaskawa / Kawasaki robots).
- Paint & sealer system maintenance experience (Graco, Sames, etc.).
- Rockwell PLC and HMI programming/troubleshooting.Competency Based Paint Maintenance Group Leader

Travel Requirement
- Domestic/International travel required.
