Exciting Opportunity: Process Engineer (Paint/Body Operations)
Are you a skilled Process Engineer with expertise in Paint/Body operations? Zing Recruiting has an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to join our team in Alabama on a long-term contract basis. This is a three-year opportunity for a strong Process Engineer with a degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Paint/Body or BIW operations. If you have a working knowledge of spot welding, MIG/TIG welding, impact joining, riveting, vision systems, and confix joining, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize processes related to Paint/Body operations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to improve quality and productivity.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Paint/Body operations technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Paint/Body or BIW operations.
• Working knowledge of spot welding, MIG/TIG welding, impact joining, riveting, vision systems, and confix joining.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
