Zion Physical Therapy, a growing out of network, orthopedic/sports and pelvic health PT-owned physical therapy practice in Jersey City, Manhattan and Westport, CT is seeking a full time licensed Orthopedic and Pelvic Health Physical Therapist for our Jersey City location inside of Fitness Factory in the Newport Center.

Our typical clients include patients and athletes who are recovering from surgery, have suffered an injury or are coping with pelvic floor dysfunction. The practice is a part of the HSS rehab network and Mt. Sinai rehab network and takes a unique and personal approach to treating each and every client and diagnosis. A successful candidate should be both knowledgeable and passionate about patient care and have experience treating both orthopedic and pelvic floor dysfunction (diagnoses include but are not limited to: incontinence, dyspareunia, constipation, abdomino-phrenic dyssynergia, pelvic pain, endometriosis, DRA and symptoms associated with the prenatal and postpartum period) or be open to learning about treating these patient populations with appropriate continuing education and mentorship.
Candidate should be organized, reliable, motivated and enthusiastic about community events, marketing and involvement. We work 1 on 1 with each patient for 45 minutes and never pass patients off to an aide. Required Skills
Ortho/Pelvic Physical Therapist Candidates must be a licensed PT in New Jersey or be willing to obtain NJ license.
Have a strong interest in both orthopedics and pelvic specialties
Have taken 1 introductory pelvic health course with either the APTA or Herman & Wallace Institute.
Additional pelvic courses and prior mentorship training are highly valued
