About ZiplineDo you want to change the world? Zipline is on a mission to transform the way goods move. Our aim is to solve the world’s most urgent and complex access challenges by building, manufacturing and operating the first instant delivery and logistics system that serves all humans equally, wherever they are. From powering Rwanda’s national blood delivery network and Ghana’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution, to providing on-demand home delivery for Walmart, to enabling healthcare providers to bring care directly to U.S. homes, we are transforming the way things move for businesses, governments and consumers. The technology is complex but the idea is simple: a teleportation service that delivers what you need, when you need it. Through our technology that includes robotics and autonomy, we are decarbonizing delivery, decreasing road congestion, and reducing fossil fuel consumption and air pollution, while providing equitable access to billions of people and building a more resilient global supply chain.
Join Zipline and help us to make good on our promise to build an equitable and more resilient global supply chain for billions of people.
About You And The RoleThe Enterprise Systems team is responsible for the operating system of Zipline – we develop critical applications that enable the manufacturing, maintenance, and service of our drone delivery system. Our team is currently creating and improving systems to optimize various aspects of our operations across the business, such as within finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering tools.
In this role, you'll serve as the main contact for users encountering challenges with our ERP systems, overseeing the resolution of issues spanning inventory management, manufacturing processes, and purchasing inquiries. Additionally, you'll engage directly with users to troubleshoot and resolve problems, and collaborate with software engineers to tackle systemic bugs that demand fixes beyond immediate troubleshooting. Your technical proficiency will be vital in swiftly diagnosing and remedying user-reported issues.
We are looking for intelligent, driven, and collaborative individuals who love challenges, aspire to contribute to a profoundly impactful mission, and enjoy a fast pace of execution. You will take full ownership of complex problems, collaborating with a team of passionate engineers and stakeholders with diverse perspectives to architect and implement solutions that propel Zipline towards its objectives.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing issues with ERP applications, providing timely and effective resolution to support business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to inventory movement, manufacturing processes, purchasing, and other ERP functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, end-users, and IT to escalate and resolve complex issues that impact system performance and functionality.
  • Document and track reported issues and resolutions, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within ERP applications, working closely with stakeholders to implement enhancements for user experience and system efficiency.
  • Develop end-user documentation and training materials, and lead training efforts to help users adopt and efficiently use the applications.
What You'll Bring
  • 2 years of experience in a business systems analyst or similar role, with a focus on supporting ERP applications.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with expertise in SQL and the ability to write and execute queries to analyze data and diagnose issues.
  • Experience with Python is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn new technologies and expand technical skills is essential.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and understanding of core functionalities such as inventory management, manufacturing processes, and purchasing workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What Else You Need to KnowThe starting cash range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role.
