We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Photo and Video Editor / Production Assistant, focusing on editing our product, education, and marketing video content that we produce in-house. This role will also include hands-on Production Assistant experience in setup, striking and support of our Videographers and Photographers with hands-on production experience in the studio and on location. This role is open with an intent to grow the Video Editor into an additional videographer behind the camera as well. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate actively with team members across multiple departments to create high-quality public-facing content, including product and brand marketing videos, educational and training content internally and for partners, and promotional video content for several brands
• Work closely with our graphic designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, marketing, and channels team to execute, manage and deploy content for multiple projects, products and campaigns
• Self-manage time effectively, prioritizing projects based on urgency and importance
• Approach work with a motivated and selfless attitude, striving for personal and organizational success

Requirements:

• This is a full-time position requiring 100 percent in-person work.
• 1 years of experience in video production, video editing, or equivalent graphic design experience
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in Film or a related field of study is strongly preferred; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
• Must also be a self-starter and possess a strong sense of ownership over projects.
  • Creative and independent; problem-solving skills are highly valued
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of photography principles
• Experience with product video editing
• Experience with color correcting and color grading video footage
•  Understanding of basic film principals
•  Understanding of basic camera functions and how they interact with one another (aperture, shutter speed, ISO)
• Experience using DSLR, mirrorless, and cinema cameras
• Experience using macOS and proficiency with Apple products
• Demonstrate a superior understanding of video editing and post-production techniques
• Experience in creating 2D motion graphics and audio editing
• Organized file management
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables and meet multiple concurrent deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in person and across digital platforms
• Adaptability to think quickly and effectively in time-sensitive situations

Preferred but not required:

• Google Suite software such as Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Gmail
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Basic understanding of studio photography and lighting

Working Hours & Hours of Operation

Reno, Nevada: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch

Fridays 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch
