ZMX Incorporated (ZMX) is seeking a Superintendent who is passionate about a career in general contracting and on site management. This individual will manage all aspects of on site construction from pre-construction through occupancy. Located in Nashville, this position is focused around multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use projects.

We also maintain a direct network of relationships with local property owners, consultants, and brokers, providing opportunities to source off-market transactions not available in the public domain.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a lean, fast paced environment vertically integrated development company
• Lead overall execution of the on site construction process while providing guidance to subcontractors / vendors
• Ensure sub-contract scopes are adhered to at all times
• Manage delivery materials to the job site
• Day-to-day management of schedule and construction means / methods
• Work under a ZMX project manager to ensure asset delivery
• Report risk exposure and critical path objectives to project manager
• Execute overall project schedule
• Lead on site OAC meetings
• Provide daily reports and logs detailing job site progress throughout construction
• Create RFIs for review by the project manager and design team
• Coordinate all city inspections
• Enforce ZMX safety plan and basic OSHA standards

Experience & Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a superintendent for multifamily, hospitality, or mixed use construction
• Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, plan reading, and project sequencing
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management / Science, or other related Real Estate fields preferred
• Proficient using MS project, MS Suite, G Suite, Bluebeam, Plangrid, ProCore or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of IBC regulations and codes
