· 1st shift = “flexible start” = 6am-8am arrive time and work 8-hour days
Job Description:
General Summary:
· Performs the following duties, and other related activities as assigned.
· Must demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirements.
· May perform as a member of a functional and/or cross- functional team.
· Duties include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, screen, repair, adjustment, test and/or verification of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems in accordance with common military, commercial, and aerospace specifications.
· Typical systems include avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers and associated equipment.
· Electrical duties may include, but are not limited to, removal and installation of components, connectors, and wiring into cabinets, chassis, and console type assemblies.
· Mechanical duties include, but are not limited to, removal, installation, and adjustment of mechanical parts to precise tolerances.
· Structural duties may include, but are not limited to, light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.
Experience Required:
· Must be able to perform duties using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
· May perform informal, in-process checks on manufactured or processed items to assist authorized formal inspection and/or test personnel in determining product validation or assist other related job classifications when directed.
Knowledge Required:
· Must be able to read, interpret and analyze engineering drawings, production planning and other technical documents, as well as possess extensive knowledge of the varied and complex electronic, electromechanical and/or optical equipment/system(s) involved.
Education Required:
· High School degree or GED equivalent.
