Job Title: Machinist
Location: Watertown, SD

Job Description:

• Looking for a candidate who will be responsible for machining parts.
• This is a fast-paced position operating multiple machines simultaneously on the shift.
• Candidate will need to ensure efficient machine operation to produce quality products while working safely and meeting delivery expectations to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work in a safe manner by following safety rules and ensuring that proper safety equipment is used.
• Set-up and operate CNC and conventional machines and grinders. Monitor life of tooling and sharpen tools.
• Create and edit CNC programs.
• Know inspection tools and how to use them to ensure parts meet print specifications and finishes.
• Perform inspections, tests, and audits on processes, products, and components.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Capable of running multiple machines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A Technical Certificate or an Associate Degree in a Machine Tool program or 5-7 years of previous experience is required
• 1 year of experience with mathematics including trigonometry, drawings and measuring devices required.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including geometric tolerancing.
• Position requires a team player, a self-starter with good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift and can lift 50lbs.
