Zobility is Hiring an Electronics Engineer (High & Low Voltage) Near Elkhart, IN

Direct Hire Opportunity

Client: Established RV manufacturer

Pay: $130K-140K/yr

10 years of Experience with both High voltage and Low voltage electronics, CAN systems, electric vehicle architecture is mandatory.

Relocation assistance is available.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and requirements development for all electric RV's including high voltage and low voltage systems.
  • Develop methodologies for controlling these electric systems and interfaces including user interfaces.
  • Development of the controller area network requirements and architecture in respect toa multi controller layout
  • Develop and execute tests for HV and LV-systems at our facilities from component level up to full vehicle testing.
  • Development of SW requirements
  • Development of diagnostics requirements and diagnostic concepts
  • Commissioning of electronic system of vehicles together with internal and external partners
  • Provide support to vehicle production teams at our operating companies to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Monitor with the suppliers on their deliveries regarding electronic design.
  • Alignment within the global EV team of experts
  • Stay current on electronic design of trailers and motorized recreational caravans and electric vehicles and chassis.

Basic Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10 year experience in High voltage and low voltage systems
  • Must thrive working in complex environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and trained on automotive processes, ability to develop important relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Electronics Engineering, computer science, software, mechatronics or related field
  • Experience in system design of electronic systems including requirement management
  • Sound base and proven experience in vehicle bus system design and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of CAN design and analytic tools
  • Experience with High Voltage (HV)systems preferred.
  • Experience in automotive engineering process.
  • Experience on recreational vehicles and caravans or trailers is a true plus
  • Experience in production integration and end of line testing of electronic systems.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
