Entry-Level Software Engineer

Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)

As an entry-level Software Engineer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you will be working alongside Senior Engineers to help with the design, development, and deployment of services and applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Proven OOP Development experience (python, java, or C )
• Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS for web scripting
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.
• Bonus: Understanding or experience with building APIs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, design, develop, deploy and support services and applications alongside senior engineers.
• Engage business stakeholders to identify challenges and create innovative technical solutions
• Work alongside technical experts to provide sustainable, future-facing software solutions
• Ensure functional & non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles
• Collaborate and code with senior engineers to understand the requirements of the project and develop solutions, which meet those requirements.
