Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and support the nursing staff in delivering quality care to patients.
Duties:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning
- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist in feeding patients who require help
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or seniors is preferred
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Proficiency in providing patient care and assisting with ADLs
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Previous caregiving experience is beneficial
