We help people with orthopedic conditions including spine, hips, head/neck, sports rehab, women's health (female pelvic floor dysfunction), Parkinson disease & other neurological conditions.
Our goal is to promote and preserve the health and well-being of our patients by using evidence-based practice in the examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions. We lead in developing and teaching the latest evidence-based treatments and exercises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to address patients' specific needs and goals
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to enhance patients' physical function and alleviate pain
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies to promote long-term recovery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and modifications to treatment plans as needed
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapy through continuous learning and professional development
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Georgia
- Specialized training and/or certification in pelvic floor physical therapy and orthopedics
- Strong clinical skills and experience in treating a diverse range of pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
